Amateurs Andrew Von Lossow, Dalton Dean shoot 65 to share lead at Rosauers Open Invitational

Spokane’s Andrew Von Lossow and the University of Idaho’s Dalton Dean led a strong showing by area amateurs in Friday’s first round of the 37th Rosauers Open Invitational.Von Lossow and Dean each birdied all three par-5s and carded 6-under 65s at Indian Canyon Golf Course to move to the top of a crowded leaderboard. Amateur Nate Plaster, who recently played at Washington State, is one of six players trailing the co-leaders by one stroke.

Washington State’s Isaac Jones posts double-double, serves up late defensive highlight in Summer League loss

Isaac Jones blocked a potential go-ahead layup inside the final 30 seconds, but the former Washington State forward’s defensive efforts weren’t enough to help the Sacramento Kings complete a comeback against the Washington Wizards Thursday night during a 73-69 NBA Summer League loss at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

Dates set for next two matchups in Gonzaga-UCLA basketball rivalry

Gonzaga and UCLA will resume their interesting non-conference rivalry in December each of the next two seasons. The West Coast powers agreed to a two-game series back in May. The dates are now set for the matchups: Dec. 28th at the new Intuit Dome in Los Angeles and Dec. 13, 2025, at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, according to a Gonzaga release.
